| Below are some pictures
of our pine kitchen range, although most of our kitchens are
made to measure to suit each individual kitchen. Our policy
is to offer you the best of bespoke kitchens at a fraction of
the price you would expect to pay elsewhere. The kitchens are
made from solid pine we are a chipboard / mdf free zone.
All our kitchens are beautifully finished in a combination
of stain, antique wax and Danish oil thus enhancing the grain
and the natural beauty of wood. Our kitchens are designed
to be free standing units you have no assembly to do upon
delivery unlike flat pack kitchens. All of our kitchens are
designed as country pine kitchens and have a rustic charm
not found in modern kitchens.

We have several different styles for you to choose from, Shaker
style, these have completely plain doors and panels and have
butt hinges. Grooved doors and strap hinges these have grooves
down each door and use large country style strap hinges. Moulded
panel this is a plain door with a slight mould around the
door edge Victorian style this is quite fancy and has large
split turned pillars, extra charge for this style £20
per foot.

We can assist you with any kitchen design should you need
this, the in shop design service is free, if you would like
us to call at your home we charge a call out design fee of
£100 local to Bristol. For in shop design please bring
dimensions of your kitchen with you. We can use computer aided
design graphics to show you how your kitchen would look upon
completion.

Our prices do not include final finishing this involves, preperation
of your units, wire wooling and sanding, staining and waxing
bases and wall cupboards, oiling of worktops etc, you will
need to oil your worktops at least another 5 times before
use and at regular intervals through out the year. The cost
of finishing as indicated in our section on pricing is 15%
of the price of your units, if you want to paint your kitchen
and don't mind the preperation work you can have it in the
white and there will be no finishing charge.

We can organise a fitter to fit your kitchen if required,
however all our kitchen units are supplied assembled and finished,

Here are some samples of our kitchens with a hand painted
finish, they still have the rustic charm not found in modern
mass produced kitchens.
With the knobs and worktops finished in our standard pine
colour they contrast very well with the cream colour very
popular in this range.
We will paint your kitchen in your colour of choice there
are several ranges of paint colours in the Victorian dulux
range and the fired earth colours
Each item to be painted goes through 4 stages
Stage 1; Preparation each unit is sanded and wire wooled to
remove any roughness left from the manufacturer.
Stage 2; The 1st layer of paint is then put on this is oil
based under coat and acts as a sealer
Stage 3; The 2nd and 3rd layer of paint are then applied
With this type of kitchen we try not to take all the character
of the wood away from the final finish and you will see minor
imperfections not found in modern plastic laminate doors.
The 30 % charge for finishing not only covers the painting
and preparation of the units but also any small adjustments
that need to be made and the staining and oiling of worktops,
the fitting staining and wax of wooden knobs. (You can avoid
this charge by having the units in the raw wood we suggest
you only do this if you are a very competent at diy)
