New furniture tends to be mass produced and is made from virgin timber which is very soft.
Most companys use a 2 inch pine laminate to make new furniture with hundreds of knots,our reclaimed range timber is specially selected and wider boards are used
We use traditional joinery techniques in the manufacture of all our furniture all drawer are dovetailed and doors are mortice and tenon joined.
This will give you a faded look that would normally take years to produce.
With this type of furniture you need to be aware that the timber used will have lots of imperfections knocks and dents small minor cracks and generally look old (most people realise this).
